FEATURE: Four Tet Joins Protests Against Trump’s Travel Ban

Four Tet creates playlist made solely of musicians excluded from Trump’s America, and it’s both compelling and saddening to say the least.

“When shit is fucked up, music can keep me calm” artist Four Tet tweets after he released a playlist made up of musicians banned from the US. Trump’s exclusion of seven predominantly Muslim nations has caused global outcry and driven Four Tet to stamp his own mark.

Commenting on the playlist, the artist talks about recording in Brooklyn with Syrian musician Souleyman. Plaintively, he remarks on the fact they wouldn’t be allowed to record there anymore. With well over 1500 followers, be sure to click on the playlist below or check out Four Tet’s twitter for more information.
